• Account information: name, email address, and authentication details when you register or sign in (including via Google or Apple).
• Documents and records: files you upload, and the text, dates, and structured data extracted from them, which may include sensitive personal, medical, military, and insurance information.
• Service content: evidence, timelines, conditions, statements, claims, appeals, and reports generated within your account.
• Usage and device data: log data, IP address, browser type, and feature usage, used to operate and secure the Service.
• Payment data: subscription and billing details processed by our payment processor (we do not store full card numbers).

• To provide, maintain, and improve the Service, including AI analysis of the records you choose to upload;
• To generate evidence summaries, timelines, reports, and draft documents at your direction;
• To authenticate you, secure your account, and prevent fraud and abuse;
• To process payments and manage subscriptions;
• To communicate with you about the Service, including service and security notices;
• To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

We process the sensitive records you upload solely to deliver the Service to you. We do not use your uploaded records to train third-party public AI models, and we do not sell your personal information.

To analyze your documents, content you upload may be sent to trusted AI and infrastructure providers that process it on our behalf under confidentiality and data-protection obligations. These providers process your content only to return results to Evident and not for their own independent purposes. AI outputs are informational and may contain errors, as described in our Disclaimers.

• Uploaded files and account data are stored with access controls limiting access to your own account.
• Data is encrypted in transit using TLS and encrypted at rest using industry-standard protocols.
• We maintain role-based access controls and audit logging of sensitive actions within your account.
• No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

If you connect optional integrations (for example, Google Drive to import files, or our payment processor for billing), those services operate under their own terms and privacy policies. We access only the data needed to provide the feature you enabled, and only with your authorization. You can disconnect integrations at any time.

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as follows:

• With service providers (hosting, AI processing, payments) that process data on our behalf under contract;
• When you direct us to (for example, exporting a document to your connected Drive);
• To comply with law, legal process, or valid governmental requests;
• To protect the rights, safety, and security of Evident, our users, and the public;
• In connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to this Policy.

We retain your account information and uploaded content for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. We may retain certain information as required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When data is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you;
• Correct inaccurate information;
• Delete your account and associated content;
• Export or obtain a copy of your data;
• Object to or restrict certain processing.

You can delete individual documents at any time in the app, which also removes the evidence and timeline records derived from them. To exercise other rights or request full account deletion, contact us at privacy@evidentclaimsai.com.

To request deletion of your account and personal data, email privacy@evidentclaimsai.com from your account email address. We will verify your request and delete your data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law. Deletion is irreversible.

The Service is not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact privacy@evidentclaimsai.com and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated Policy with a new effective date and, for material changes, provide additional notice where appropriate.
